Room 11 Coaching
Good work travels

Different worlds.
Same people.

The details change from one industry to the next. The human bit does not. I adapt the same core method to the context you work in.

B2B businesses — across all industries

I started my career in B2B telesales, selling anything from mobile phones to windows and doors and road repair.

Today I help lead gen, new business, account management, technical, and customer service teams understand themselves and their clients better, communicate clearly and concisely, work more effectively together, and deliver exceptional sales results consistently.

Whether it’s communications, health and safety or warranties, the product might change. The approach doesn’t.

Education

Education is a special sector. People enter it to do good and help others—not necessarily to manage people.

And people-management skills are rarely taught, often leading to ineffective SLTs, taking on other people’s roles and tasks, conflict and burnout.

My leadership course supports leadership teams of 3 to 73 people. We start with a one-day course and build from there.

For larger organisations, Amy Fowles joins me to design and deliver a course bespoke to your requirements.

NHS trusts & GP practices

I deliver everything from large-scale programmes with NHS trusts to half-day sessions for GP practices. The aim throughout: teams who communicate with clarity, confidence, compassion and accountability, even under pressure.

Healthcare is high-pressure for everyone involved. Supporting colleagues properly is what allows them to deliver the best service to patients, many of whom are vulnerable or not presenting at their best.

All programmes are mapped to CQC standards in England and Healthcare Inspectorate Wales standards in Wales, and tailored to your organisation’s requirements.

Health and Leisure

Health and leisure is one of my favourite places to work. These community hubs bring people together to socialise, exercise and improve their wellbeing.

I help teams work well together, operate effectively and deliver welcoming, confident, memorable interactions—face-to-face and over the phone—so customers are excited to return and shout about their experience to their friends and family.

Any of my packages can apply, with customer satisfaction and positive colleague relationships at the heart of the work.

Franchising

I worked in franchising for 18 years and owned two different franchise businesses, both in the children’s activity sector.

I understand the franchisor-franchisee relationship from both sides, the challenges, the opportunities, and what makes it work.

I support franchisors and franchisees with business growth strategy, sales, customer experience, leadership development and the franchisor-franchisee relationship itself, including culture across the network.

It’s a sector with huge potential to get both right and wrong, so having someone in your corner is a real advantage.

The constant underneath it all

People do their best work when they understand themselves and each other.

That means practical skills, honest conversations and room for people to be human.
